Local charities adjust to significant changes in funding regimes

In the same way that arts/cultural institutions have faced massive changes in funding regimes, many smaller charities have had to adapt and develop new funding streams.  Working through various trusts we have supported a number of local charities in exploring new funding opportunities, whether through consortium bid for available funds or developing totally new relationships and funding streams.  This work has forced these charities to dig deeply into their true social purpose and develop completely new relationships and ways of working with potential funders with an interest in that deeper social purpose.
